Alexandros V. Benos is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Cenergy Holdings, a Euronext, Brussels and Athens Stock Exchange listed company focusing on the growing global demand of energy transfer, renewables and data transmission.  Cenergy Holdings’ companies are committed to helping combat climate change, enabling a swifter passage to green energy.  Alexandros is also serving as Deputy CFO of Viohalco and a member of its Executive Committee.

Dr. Benos holds a B.A. and M.A. from Trinity College, Cambridge University and a Ph.D. in Finance from Graduate School of Business, Stanford University.  After graduation, he spent 10 years as a Professor in HEC Paris, in Geneva University, and at the University of Piraeus in Greece before joining the Risk Management team of the National Bank of Greece, starting as a modeling consultant and culminating as Chief Risk Officer and ExCo member of NBG Group.  Due to his long experience in banking, he is currently a member of the Special Liquidation Committee of the Bank of Greece.
