Dr Anastasios Rousis is an engineer-turned entrepreneur, CEO and co-founder of Smart Power Networks, an emerging technology startup of the energy sector. The focus of his work has always been the optimal integration of renewable energy sources to enable a cost-effective energy transition. Anastasios has worked in the renewable industry for several years as a Wood plc consultant, participating in all development phases of renewable energy projects in four continents, gaining expertise throughout the project lifecycle. He has vast experience working with C-level executives and thought leaders of the energy sector. Anastasios currently advises the Greek Government under his role as a Member of the Greek Sectoral Council for ‘Environment, Energy and Sustainability Mobility’ which falls under the Ministry of Development & Investments. Anastasios holds 2 Master’s degrees and a PhD degree from Imperial College London.
