Chris is a Principal Energy Economist in EBRD’s Climate Strategy & Delivery (CSD) team. Since joining the Bank in 2015, he has covered the Central and South-eastern Europe region, where he has worked on transactions and led policy dialogue efforts to scale up clean energy investments. Before joining the Bank, he worked in consulting, where he specialised in energy market modelling. Chris has a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Edinburgh and holds the GARP Energy Risk Practitioner (ERP) qualification. Since 2016 he has been a regular guest lecturer on energy market reform and decarbonisation at the Joint Vienna Institute (JVI).
