Mr Schruefer has a Diploma in Industrial Engineering at Technical Universities of Illmenau and Dresden in Energy Technology and Energy Economics
After internships at BMW Motorsport and BMW Corporate Research for hydrogen cars in 2006 he has joined Kraftanlagen Group for elaborating his diploma thesis on the Economic Assessment of a solar tower plant in Algeria
End of 2009 he became Solar Power Consultant for integrated Concentrated Solar Power systems at the company IA Tech. In 2014 he became Chief Operations Officer in the Consulting where he gathered a profound knowledge of Solar PV and Solar CSP markets in Europe, MENA region, China and Brazil. In 2018 he is additionally in charge of the New Solar Business at Kraftanlagen München creating new bankable green heat solutions. Since this year his teams of EPC solar solutions and Consulting for new power systems are joining its forces with the new owner of Kraftanlagen München, the French BOUYGUES CONSTRUCTION in Paris, a company with € 13bn turnover being dominantly owned by the family of Bouygues and its employees.
