Mohamed Shalaby is Research Coordinator at DERlab e.V. He completed the REMENA master programme, which is a joined master programme between the University of Kassel, Germany, and the University of Cairo, Egypt. His master thesis focused on simulation regions operating at 100% renewable energy. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the German University in Cairo (GUC). Mr. Shalaby was actively involved as a team leader in several research projects: Heating & Electricity Regional Synergies and BioPower2Gas (BMWi), Reliability Analysis of Wind and Solar Energy Systems in Egypt (STDF), INTERPLAN (H2020), NOBEL GRID (H2020) and PANTERA (H2020).
