Dr. Stefanos E. Dallas received his PhD. Degree by the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computers Technology of Patras University Polytechnic School in 2012 and his BSc in Physics by the University of Athens in 2004. As of September 2019 he works as an EU project coordinator in PROTASIS S.A. and he has been a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering of the University of the Peloponnese since 2012. Additionally, between 2012 and 2018 he worked as a post-doc researcher at the S-Naval AME of NTUA, by participating in 4 research projects (MARINELIVE, THALIS-DEFKALION, DC-SHIP, ELEMED) dealing with marine electrical engineering issues focusing in the design and analysis of shipboard electrical systems and in the investigation of related power quality issues, analysis on onboard power management systems, system analysis for connecting a ship to a shore-side power supply in port (either AC or DC) with the ship’s machinery (Cold-Ironing)
