Mr. Tasos Tsitsanis is an Electrical and Computer Engineer, holding an MSc in the field of Energy and Environmental Management. Mr. Tsitsanis has great experience, acting as consultant and project manager, in several national and EU projects in the field of big data management and AI-enabled analytics for improving energy efficiency in buildings and introducing advanced concepts for flexibility utilization in demand side management/ active demand response. He currently holds the position of the Business Development Director in Suite5 Data Intelligence Solutions Limited. He has deep knowledge in the fields of energy and environmental management, energy saving and planning, EU energy policies, energy market operation and economics. He has been involved in many academic and professional training activities dealing with multi criteria decision making, Business Modelling, Energy Services Provision with the use of ICT, etc. He is an active member in WG5 (Innovation Implementation in the Business Environment) of the European Technology and Innovation Platform – Smart Networks for Energy Transition (ETIP-SNET) and in the Digital Built Environment Committee of the European Construction Technology Platform (ECTP). He participates as major contributor to the Data Management and Business Models Working Groups of the BRIDGE initiative (EU), as well as to the activities of the Big Data Value Association PPP (DAIRO/ BDVA).
